LOOMIS LIONS CLUB
Third annual yard sale earns $1,500 in four hours

The Loomis Lions Club has nearly 50 members and is known throughout the Sacramento Valley as a leader in such service areas as eyesight, diabetes and for providing for the various needs of its elementary and high school facilities. The club offers annual scholarships and purchases critical need items for the schools at their request. In recent years, the club has expanded its vast community commitments to assisting victims of catastrophe around the globe. It is twinned with the Kelowna Orchard City Lions in Canada and is preparing to twin with a Lions Club in Baja California. The funds earned from its annual yard sales are set aside for assisting both local and international causes as they become known.

The Loomis Lions Club was chartered in 1953 and has been a leading service club for more than 50 years.
